We apologize for any inconvenience if we actually don't have quite enough backing for you - this will be more likely on the 108" fabrics that are on sale because they're getting low... knowing the precise yardage amounts gets a little harder for us to track accurately when these backing bolts become thinner.
We rip our wide backing fabric - this is so you or your quilter has a definite side that runs on the crossgrain so the backing can be squared up on a frame. Here's a great video where a quilter explains this.
