PRE-PREP:

Please come to the class with the top and bottom borders pieced and sew on to the main background piece.  ** This will allow us to learn the applique process on this project.  **

In addition to the Kit (or pattern, fabrics and fusible webbing, batting ~ all per pattern directions, see pattern for complete list) please bring the following to class:  

Pattern designer recommends spray basting on step 10.  You can use spray basting or for this project pins or quilting pins will also work.   I have that on hand so I used it, but if that is something you never use you can get by without it in my opinion by using pins as mentioned.  

Machine in good working order

Thread - you get to choose what color you want to use for machine applique.  You can use a matching color for each color in pattern or you can use one color.    

Iron and iron pad

Optional: parchment paper or pressing cloth or silicone pressing mat to keep your ironing pad clean

Sharp scissors

Pencil
