Beginning Quilt Class #1

In this 4-week class we will cover the fundamentals- fabric preparation, cutting, sewing, pressing and other quilt making techniques. You will learn how to make a small quilt top. This is a great class for new quilters as well as those who have done some quilting but haven't taken a class. Have the desire to learn how to quilt? 

Supply List: 
You will need to bring a working sewing machine that does a straight stitch. Be sure to bring bobbins and needles. If you aren't familiar with your own machine, take some time to learn the basics about your machine before you get to class. 
*Rotary cutter- 45mm
*First-Time Quiltmaking book (available to purchase at the beginning of class)
*Quilting Rulers- 6 1/2 x 24 1/2 preferred
*Cutting mat
*Quilting pins
*Scissors
*Seam Ripper
*Marking pencil
*Something to keep your supplies together like a bag. 

We will provider irons and ironing surfaces

Fabric Requirements: 
Please have your fabrics picked out before class- Our staff are more than happy to help you. 

Cancellation Policy: A 7-day notice is required in order to receive a full refund/store credit. If there is less than 7-day notice Gruber's will attempt to fill the seat with another customer. If the slot is filled, you may receive a full refund/store credit (class fees only). If we are unable to fill the cancelled seat your class fee with be forfeited. If you have to unenroll from a class that includes a free pattern/book, and have received this item, the price of the pattern/book will be reduced from any potential refund/store credit.
