Beginner I Quilting

Level: Beginner with some sewing

This class provides an introduction to basic quilt making supplies, terminology, fabric selection, proper rotary cutting, and scant quarter-inch seam allowance. If you have some sewing but no quilting experience or you have not made a quilt for many years, or even if you have been piecing quilt tops, you will want to take this class.

Beginner II Quilting
Instructor: Beth Probasco

Prerequisite: Beginner I
    Level: Beginner

This class builds on the skills learned in Beginner I and is designed for those who want to learn to piece a quilt top of their own or want to assure they are using current and accurate quilt making techniques. Rotary cutting, sewing, and basic quilt piecing techniques will be used to complete a Rail Fence wall quilt.

Beginning Machine Quilting

Batting, basting, and binding – basic information needed to finish your projects.
