Gruber's Retreat
Center
 
You can shop and sew
all day and all night!
All for $131.40 for a 3-day,
2 night stay - from 9:00am on the first day
through 3:00pm
on the third day (one night stay totals $65.70) prices include tax.
 
Large and small
sewing rooms can be rented out for day meetings or gatherings, depending
on availability.
Cost is $55.00 per day. You and your friends
can be quilting, piecing or appliquéing, scrapbooking,
or knitting during your stay.
We have the place for you!
It
is located in the building across the street from the shop, with plenty of
food and shopping nearby.
Order in, or eat out. Our Retreat Center
is divided into two areas,
each consisting of a sewing room and
sleeping rooms.
One large group
(or two smaller groups)
can be
accommodated and share the centrally located "Gathering Room"
with its refrigerator, toaster, and microwave.
The large sewing area
accommodates ten people.
A minimum of six people
is required for
booking
this entire space.
The small sewing area accommodates eight
people.
A minimum of four people
is required for booking
this entire
space.
 
Daytime visitors only pay $20.00 a day
to join their friends. Sewing rooms are well
lit,
with large work tables
and comfortable chairs
suitable for crafting
- along with
ironing boards, irons, and extensions cords.
No personal sewing
supplies
will be provided, i.e., cutting mats, rotary cutters.
The
center is air conditioned and is handicapped accessible with a chair lift. Sleeping rooms
are furnished
with (new) single beds & decorated in theme modes and all bedding and towels
are provided.
 
Food, paper plates, eating utensils, etc. are not provided!
We have
too many
wonderful restaurants nearby! Across from the Retreat Center, of course, is Gruber's.
Gruber's has almost anything you would ever need for your quilting experience.
There is even a coffee shop
in our courtyard. Our courtyard
is also available to
rent
for meetings, showers, etc. Cost is $40.00.
If you
require tables and chair, a charge of $15.00 for set-up and $15.00 for
take-down
will be added.
Please note: Each participant in a group needs to make a
$65.70 one-night deposit to hold their spot.
This is
non-refundable.
The balance is due one month prior to the
retreat start date.
Reservations may be made through one
contact/coordinator person. In the event both the large and small
areas are
filled by one group, the group's coordinator is eligible for a
"free stay'!
